Sonic the Hedgehog (iPhone) — игра на iPhone и iPod Touch. Не является полноценным портом игры, ибо представляет собой ROM, запускаемый с помощью встроенного эмулятора, который эмулирует оригинальную игру Sonic the Hedgehog на Mega Drive. Сам ROM является третьей ревизией игры, находящейся в сборнике Sonic Mega Collection с эмулятором iGenesis.
Управление игрой производится с помощью кнопок на экране. Также можно уменьшать размер экрана так, чтобы не загораживать кнопки управления. В игре доступна опция сохранения, которая позволяет возобновить игру после выключения.
Данная версия игры больше не доступна, а тем, кто успел её купить, предоставляется бесплатно ремейк игры 2013 года с новым движком Retro Engine.
